SUICIDE

 

Suicide is the most preventable form of death.

 

Suicide ranks seventh among the main categories of death in the United States

 

Girls attempt suicide 3 times more often than boys (less lethal methods)

Boys complete suicide 3 times more often than girls (quicker, more lethal methods)

The primary event, which triggers suicide in adolescents, is a break-up of a romantic relationship
